That’s right! But what you’re dreaming here may not be as literal as your mind takes it. You see, there is a link between dreaming of deceased loved ones and dreaming that our mate is cheating on us. Interesting, huh?

What brings on these dreams is twofold – on the one hand this type of dream seems to say we don't spend enough quality time with our mate. On the other hand, it also suggests we tend to believe in an afterlife!

Most of the dreams of the deceased involve awareness in the dream that the person has died. Yet they come back to visit and let us know they are all right.

And when you dream about your mate cheating, that often isn’t literally about “cheating” at all. More likely it’s because he or she has been spending too much time doing something that doesn't involve you. So you feel "cheated" out of your time with him or her. And that’s what presents itself in your dream.

Or how about this type of dream. I’ll bet you’ve had one of these dreams in your life – either about falling or flying. Am I right? Well that’s because these are also very common dream themes. And they are trying to tell you something. As in all dreams, the message might not mean what you immediately think it does.

Let’s take a closer look at falling and flying…

Falling is a common subject of dreams. This might have to do with loss of control, an important relationship, your career…. (By the way it isn’t true that if you hit the ground in a falling dream that you will die. Just an old wives’ tale.) In fact, the feeling or sensation of falling in your dreams is actually signaling you that something in your day to day life is off track or spiraling out of control.
